Shroudoids and Skeptoids

I had to ask. “Lenny, why do you think the Shroud is real?”

“If you just look at the facts the way most people do, you can conclude anything you want. It is human nature to be selective with facts, to pick and choose the ones that fit our preconceived ideas. We are all victims of cognitive bias. We really only see what we want to see. That is why you must take the question of God out of the Shroud question. That is why you [not me particularly] must stop trying to prove the resurrection or incarnation, either to yourself or to others. Most people don’t. That is why you have so many people trying to prove it is real or fake; shroudoids and skeptoids, alike.”
